During the walk, we explore the southern central part of the city center of Budapest. The walk takes approximately one and a half hours, progressing comfortably. The route is a mix of cultural, historical, park-like, or romantic atmospheres, with hidden and less hidden sculptures and tactile maps along the way, ensuring everyone will enjoy it.
The entire walk is wheelchair-accessible, ensuring that no one is excluded, and there are no steeper sections. You can also come with a guide dog, and one companion can join the walk for free per person with a disability. The guide is trained for guiding the visually impaired and can assist with wheelchair navigation. Additionally, depending on the number of assistants needed, we can provide multiple helpers after prior coordination.
The meeting point is at the main large entrance on the ground floor of the M4 metro station at Szent Gellért Square. For the visually impaired, with or without a guide dog, and for those with mobility issues, the M4 metro can be easily reached using the elevator. We start from the Gellért Baths, crossing the Liberty Bridge, passing through Fővám Square, Váci Street, University Square, Károlyi Garden, Astoria, Hungarian National Museum, and Kálvin Square. The final destination is the most famous market of Budapest, the Central Market Hal, with a large souvenir shopping area with Hungarian specialities. It is at Fővám Square, where, using the elevator, the visually impaired with or without a guide dog, and those with mobility issues can easily travel with the M4 metro.
